Success Criteria

We have looked at some previous media students magazines, we analysed the strengths and weaknesses of the magazine. From the strengths and weaknesses i was able to create a success criteria that would be needed to create a successful magazine. So i will apply all of the things below to my own magazine.

Success criteria

·         Bold, relevant masthead that stands out
·         Generic conventions of a magazine- barcode, price, date
·         Relevant colour scheme visible throughout
·         Relevant font and styles used throughout
·         Features/cover lines
·         Logo or a form of branding
·         Appropriate mise en scene
·         Advertise the content of the magazine
·         Clear layout/format
·         Text overlays
·         Pictures taken with suitable lighting
